Increased Production at Komdok Mining Complex of DPRK

Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- News of increased production is being reported one after another in the Komdok area, a leading mineral production base of the DPRK.

The Ri Song Il-led Youth Tunneling Workteam of the April 5 Pit, the Ore-conveying Workteam No. 4 of the July 1 Pit, the Pak Thae Son-led Hero Work-team of the Yonggwang Pit at the Kumgol Mine and other units of the Komdok Mining Complex, out in carrying out the tasks for the first year of the new Five-Year Plan, have fulfilled their yearly national economic plans ahead of schedule.

Such achievements add great vitality to the all-people grand drive of self-reliance for implementing the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the plenary meetings of its Central Committee. -0-
