Reply Message to Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un from Vietnamese President

Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a reply message from Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on September 15.

The reply message said:

I express heartfelt thanks, on behalf of the Vietnamese party, state and people and on my own behalf, to you and the Korean party, government and people for having sent your congratulatory message on the occasion of the 81st national day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

I express belief that both sides would continue to effectively implement the agreements reached between the top leaders of the two countries and thus substantially develop the traditional relations of friendship between the two parties and the two countries in the interests of the two peoples and for peace and stability in the region and the rest of the world day by day.

Availing myself of this opportunity, I wish you good health and greater success in your noble position.

I wish the DPRK a powerful development day by day and the Korean people bigger successes in the cause of socialist construction. -0-
