Catfish Fishing Begins in Paddy Fields
Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Catfish fishing began in fish-breeding paddy fields across the DPRK.
South Phyongan Province has gathered a large quantity of catfish every day.
South Hwanghae Province built animal protein feeding ground and puffed feed production base well and introduced a efficient method of producing feed that can reduce production cost and achieve profitability, thus increasing the survival rate and weight ratio of fish.
North Phyongan Province increased the breeding of fish per unit area by preventing water pollution and reducing the mortal rate on the basis of setting the feeding times and amount scientifically.
North Hwanghae, South Hamgyong and Jagang provinces, too, are catching the catfish in time. -0-
