Signal Progress Made in Coal Industry of DPRK

Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- More than 20 youth shock brigades in the coal industry of the DPRK carried out their two-year or yearly national economic plans.

Youth shock brigades at the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex have steadily increased the operation rate of equipment and introduced advanced blasting methods to make more achievements in tunneling.

A youth shock brigade at the Kujang Area Coal-mining Complex implemented its yearly plan ahead of schedule. And it carried out the two-year national economic plan by June.

Those of Anju and Kaechon area coal-mining complexes, too, have registered high production results every day.

Those of the Pukchang Area Youth Coal-mining Complex are recording achievements through a sequence of drilling and blasting. -0-
