Chongjin Stadium Remodeled

Pyongyang, August 30 (KCNA) -- The Chongjin Stadium has been renovated in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.

As the stadium has been given facelift to a fine comprehensive mass sports base, working people, youth and students will be able to enjoy cultural and emotional life to their heart's content while conducting colorful sports activities like football, basketball, volleyball, track and field events.

Kim Tu Il, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other officials in the province went round the stadium and discussed the issues of boosting the people's enthusiasm for sports. -0-
