Treasured Factory

One day in July 2016, the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Phyongsong Artificial Leather Factory.

Before going round its production lines, he went to the room for education in the revolutionary history. Intensively seeing the photos of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il giving field guidance at the factory and valuable historic mementoes, he said that the Phyongsong Artificial Leather Factory has grown to be a treasured factory of the country conducive to improving the people's standard of living under the special loving care of the great leaders.

That day, the General Secretary stressed the need for the officials accompanying him to take measures for providing the factory with sufficient raw and other materials so that it could play its role as a treasured factory.

Leaving the factory, he again said that the factory should continue to glorify its honor as a treasured factory.

Indeed, this call reflected his warm sincerity to provide our people with an affluent and civilized life as soon as possible as well as his deep trust and expectation that the factory would fulfill its responsibility and role in developing the country's light industry and improving the people's standard of living. -0-
