Rice Harvesting Mainly Completed in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- The socialist farm fields in the DPRK which is expecting a bumper crop are seething with enthusiasm to successfully conclude this year's farming.

Amid high zeal of agricultural workers across the country for glorifying this significant year with increased grain production, the nationwide rice harvesting has been mainly completed and the transport of rice sheaves and threshing have been carried out at 90 percent and 70 percent respectively as of October 24, registering a faster rate than last year. -0-
