National Symphony Orchestra Greets Its 80th Founding Anniversary
Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- The National Symphony Orchestra in the DPRK marked its 80th founding anniversary.
The proud 80-year history covered by the symphony orchestra was a glorious one when it clearly demonstrated the validity and vitality of the unique ideology of attaching importance to music and leadership of the peerlessly great men who opened up a new history of Juche symphony.

A meeting was held at the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre on August 7 to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the National Symphony Orchestra.
Present there were Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials, creators, artistes and persons of merit of the National Symphony Orchestra and various art troupes.
