Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- There is the Pothong Riverside Terraced Residential District built for ordinary workers on the bank of the Pothong River in Pyongyang.
The residential district is a cradle of love shown by respected Comrade
The district was formed in the excellent location on the bank of the River Pothong in the centre of the capital city, bringing about a sea change. It is associated with the loving care of the respected General Secretary to provide the DPRK people with the material and cultural well-being with nothing more to desire in the world.
On August 20, 2021, the respected General Secretary visited the construction site of the Pothong Riverside Terraced Residential District and said that the residential district should be built for the main purpose of ensuring the convenience of every resident, to say nothing of architectural beauty.
He stressed need to provide the residents with good walking paths and rational traffic facilities so that they can get down straight from their houses without going round the district and use them.
He said that it would be good to call the residential district "Kyongru-dong" in the meaning of beautiful marble turret.
