Construction of Rural Houses in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- This year, too, rural construction sector in the DPRK is putting spurs to the construction of rural houses to turn the countryside into a socialist ideal land, according to Rodong Sinmun.

Kangnam County in Pyongyang Municipality and Ragwon County and Tanchon City in South Hamgyong Province have launched the finishing work.

South Phyongan Province is stepping up the project while intensifying policy and technical guidance to meet the requirements of design and construction and organizing demonstration and passing-on technique meeting according to processes.

South Hwanghae Province is pushing ahead with the construction of rural houses while raising the technical knowledge and skills of the builders and putting effort into the quality of construction.

Jagang, North Phyongan, North Hamgyong and other provinces have manufactured and introduced efficient construction equipment and put spurs to putting the construction on a scientific basis. -0-
