During the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the President put forward the Juche-oriented line of building the people's government and gained valuable experience in building the government.
After the national liberation, he set forth the most accurate nation-building line and defined the form of government as the people's government defending and realizing the interests of the broad working masses, including workers, peasants and intellectuals, and stepped up preparations for building the government under complicated circumstances.
In those days, the people's democratic government was established to carry out the tasks of the anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolution and such democratic reforms as the Law on Agrarian Reform, the Law on Nationalization of Major Industries and the Labor Law were enforced to provide conditions for building new society in Korea.
On this basis, the President declared the birth of the DPRK on September 9, 1948.
The founding of the DPRK was a brilliant victory of the Juche-oriented nation-building line advanced by the President and a historic event that made Korea, once eclipsed on the world map, an independent and sovereign state, and its people genuine masters of the state and society.
