Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in leading newspapers of the DPRK on Tuesday:

- Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet, made a field survey of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine.

- Flower baskets were sent to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill here by overseas Koreans' organizations, foreign organizations and personages and Koreans in China.

- Schoolchildren met to hear the noble virtues of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of his demise.
