Progress Made in Production of Custom-built Equipment
Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- The Taean Heavy Machine Complex in the DPRK is making innovations in the production of custom-built equipment for various sectors of the national economy.
The complex has organized the production and control to the effect that all processes, including plate work, processing and assembly, are dovetailed with each other, while concentrating efforts on resolving technical problems arising in setting up high-grade alloy steel production line and technical upgrading of equipment.
It increases the production of electric motors and reducers to be sent to coal mines by ensuring full-capacity operation of processing equipment and improving quality.
It has stepped up the production of custom-built equipment for metal and chemical industries while conducting a drive for increased production and economy with the main focus on improving the quality of products and lowering cost.
It expands successes by enhancing sci-tech capabilities and optimizing production and management. -0-
