Young People in DPRK Volunteer for Major Worksites of Socialist Construction

Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- Young people in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK have volunteered to work at major worksites of socialist construction.

Youths in Chollima District advanced into the Chollima Steel Complex.

Those in Taean District and Ryonggang County vowed to work at raw materials base stations and those in Hanggu, Waudo and Kangso districts and Onchon County at the construction brigades.

A meeting was held at the Nampho Municipal Art Theatre on July 5 to congratulate the volunteers.

Attending the meeting were officials concerned, officials of the youth league, youth and students. Petition certificates were awarded to the volunteers and a congratulatory address and speeches were made.

Officials, youth and students encouraged the volunteers, presenting bouquets to them. -0-
