I extend the warmest congratulations on behalf of the Vietnamese party, state and people and on my own behalf to you and, through you, to the Korean party, state and people on the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the DPRK (September 9, 1948 - September 9, 2026).
The Vietnamese party, state and people extend congratulations to the fraternal Korean party, state and people on their important successes over the past 78 years and, at the same time, are convinced that the fraternal DPRK people will continue to successfully achieve the goals and tasks set forth at the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and thus usher in a new origin of prosperity and development under the leadership of the WPK headed by respected General Secretary
I am pleased with the fact that the traditional relations of friendship between our two parties and two countries have steadily consolidated and developed since our meeting in Pyongyang in October 2025 and both sides have substantially and effectively implemented the agreements reached between the top leaders of the two countries.
Vietnam is ready to contribute to the regional and global peace, stability, cooperation and development by continuing to develop the cooperative relations between the two parties and two countries in a more substantial and effective way in keeping with the interests of the people of each country together with the DPRK side.
