Gathering of Workers and Trade Union Members Held to Mark War Victory Day

Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- A poem and song presentation "Victory Will be Won Generation after Generation" was given by workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) at the Central Hall of Workers on July 23 to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Present there were Ri Won Jong, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, officials of the GFTUK and workers and trade union members in Pyongyang.

The performers sang high praises of the immortal exploits of war victory performed by President Kim Il Sung to defend the country from the armed invasion by the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces with his unique military idea and outstanding strategy and tactics and bring victory and glory to our people.

The indomitable will of all the workers and trade union members to write a new biography of national rejuvenation and bring about a greater victory under the leadership of the great Workers' Party of Korea was fully displayed in the mixed chorus "My Strong Motherland".
