Youths in Ryanggang Province Volunteer to Work at Major Socialist Construction Theaters

Pyongyang, October 29 (KCNA) -- Young people in Ryanggang Province of the DPRK have volunteered to work at major socialist construction theaters.

Those in Kim Hyong Gwon County, Kim Jong Suk County and Unhung County vowed to work at construction brigades and raw material bases, and those in the county of Samsu decided to become members of a work-team maintaining a mountain pass.

A youth league member in the county of Paegam asked his youth league organization to send him to a branch school in a remote village.

A meeting was held at the Ryanggang Provincial Hall of Culture on October 28 to congratulate those volunteers.

Present there were officials concerned, youth league officials and young men and women. The volunteers were awarded volunteering certificates. A congratulatory address and speeches were made.

Officials and young people saw the volunteers off, putting garlands around their necks and presenting bouquets of flowers to them. -0-
