Work for Training Talents Promoted

Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- Vocational technology colleges for medical workers across the DPRK strive to train medical workers with high qualifications.

The schools have directed big efforts to organizing teachers' retraining, discussion on teaching and seminars on teaching methods with proper methodology and to teaching the students practical knowledge.

In close contact with curative and preventive units, they are applying the latest achievements in medical science and technology and advanced technical data to teaching in time.

They are also improving the foreign language skills of teachers and students, training reserve nurses with good qualifications and abilities by intensifying experiment, practice and education, and improving the educational conditions and environment.

Efforts are also being paid to improving the contents and methods of education and raising the level of modernization and IT to make the students acquire specialized knowledge in a wide and profound way. -0-
