- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to a woman centenarian in Pongsan County, North Hwanghae Province, on her 100th birthday.

- Farms across the country introduced the catfish breeding method in more than 2 000 hectares of paddy-fields to register the crop yield estimate per hectare at the maximum of 13 tons and gather a maximum of over 60 tons of catfish in a hectare.
