DPRK Foreign Minister Meets President of Russian Federation

Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on a visit to the Russian Federation, met with Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, president of the Russian Federation, in Kremlin, Moscow on July 19.

Choe Son Hui courteously conveyed the warmest comradely greetings of Comrade Kim Jong Un to Comrade Vladimir Putin.

Expressing thanks for this, Comrade Putin asked the foreign minister to convey his best wishes to Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The meeting reaffirmed the will to further strengthen the relations of alliance in the spirit of the treaty on comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and there was a beneficial talk on expanding and developing bilateral exchange and cooperation in various fields.

Present there were Sin Hong Chol, DPRK ambassador to Russia, Sergey Lavrov, foreign minister of the Russian Federation, and Yuri Ushakov, aide to the President of Russia for Foreign Policy. -0-
