National Sci-tech Presentation and Exhibition in Energy Sector

Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation and exhibition in the energy sector of the DPRK opened on Oct. 29.

The presentation and exhibition brought together over 90 units including the Natural Energy Institute of the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Jagang Provincial Communication Management Bureau and the South Hwanghae Provincial Power Transmission and Distribution Station. Presented to it are more than 220 papers conducive to turning the country's economy into an energy-saving one as well as practical products.

Lectures on the global trend of development of the energy industry will be given during this period.

An opening ceremony took place at the Light Industrial Sample Exhibition.
