Intensive Training of Skilled Workers for Regional Foodstuff Factories in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- The Ministry of Regional Industry of the DPRK is directing efforts to train skilled workers for operation of the regional foodstuff factories under construction, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The ministry took a measure to make lecture rooms and establish production processes for training skilled workers at the Rangnang Foodstuff Factory.

As a result, the factory was equipped with more than 10 kinds of main production processes and secondary production processes for packing, raw materials pre-treatment processes, etc.

Over 540 employees assigned to the regional foodstuff factories to be built this year in Kangnam County in Pyongyang, Sonchon County in North Phyongan Province and Taean District in Nampho City and others areas are receiving passing-on-technique lectures while operating modern equipment in practice.

Researchers of the Food and Consumer Goods Research Institute under the Ministry of Regional Industry, highly skilled workers of various foodstuff factories and employees of the Rangnang Foodstuff Factory are making efforts to raise the technical and skill levels of the trainees while engaging in production with them. -0-
