Footwear Production Increases in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- The shoe-making industry sector of the DPRK concentrates its efforts on improving the quality of products and developing new products.

The Ryuwon Footwear Factory developed tens of kinds of sports shoes with peculiar style and diverse colors by actively applying technical innovation proposals.

This year alone, the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory has developed more than 60 kinds of shoes and its technical team has reliably ensured the normal operation of automatic glue-painting process scientifically and technologically, thus increasing the production in quality and quantity.

The Pyongyang Leather Shoes Factory has organized shows of new products to revitalize production.
