Farm Machines Produced in North Hamgyong Province

Pyongyang, August 30 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK has produced hundreds of high-performance farm machines and sent them to cities and counties.

The Chongjin Trailing Farm Machine Factory has produced a hundred and dozens of farm machines.

Meanwhile, farm machine stations in Kilju, Kyongwon and Onsong counties introduced rational methods of processing and assembling accessories and thus carried out their plans for farm machine production.

Kim Tu Il, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other officials in the province looked round the newly-made farm machines on Aug. 29 to discuss measures for massive production of farm machines highly demanded among farmers which meet natural and geographical characteristics and actual conditions of regions.

On the same day, trucks carrying farm machines left for farms in cities and counties. -0-
