Compound Granulated Fertilizer Factory Built in N. Hwanghae Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK has built a compound granulated fertilizer factory with a capacity of producing tens of thousands of tons of fertilizer per year.

All the production processes of the base, ranging from raw materials feeding to packing, are put on a streamlined and automatic basis. It mass-produces the fertilizer, whose main materials are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Such effective fertilizer enhances the drought-resistance of crops and promotes the health of their roots.

The construction of the factory has opened up a bright prospect of reaping bumper harvests of wheat and barley. -0-
