On behalf of the Lao party, state and people, I extend warm congratulations and best wishes to you, Comrade, and, through you, to the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, all the Party members and the fraternal Korean people on the occasion of the 81st founding anniversary of the WPK (October 10, 1945-October 10, 2026).
I am very proud of the fact that the DPRK government and the fraternal Korean people have firmly defended the gains of the revolution, achieved political stability in the country, built modern defence and security forces and achieved great successes in the work for the economic development and the improvement of the people's living standards over the past 81 years when the Workers' Party of Korea has grown strong since its founding.
I am firmly convinced that the Korean Party, government and people will thoroughly implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Party and achieve greater successes in defending the country and building a powerful socialist country under the powerful leadership of the WPK headed by Comrade
Highly appreciating the successes achieved at the bilateral talks with you during my official visit to the DPRK in 2025 last year, I will continue to cooperate with you and the Korean Party and government to thoroughly implement the agreements reached at the talks in the future and thus steadily develop the long-standing friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties, two states and two peoples in conformity with the interests of the peoples of the two countries and contribute to peace, stability, cooperation and development of the region and the world.
