Landscape Treatment Resources in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- In the DPRK, there are many landscape treatment resources good for health and preventive treatment of diseases of the people.

The landscape treatment resources include scenic areas (scenic spot, mountain, river, sea, lake, etc.), natural phenomena according to the seasons, animals and plants. They directly affect the health promotion and the preventive treatment of diseases of people.

Good use of the landscape treatment resources will be helpful to prevent and treat such diseases as nervous system diseases, cardiovascular system diseases and respiratory systemic diseases.

Pyongyang Municipality has the landscape treatment resources of scenic spots, mineral water areas and mountain and stream areas. Typical of them are Mangyongdae, Moran Hill, Rungna Islet and the area of Mt Taesong.

The landscape treatment resources in South Phyongan Province and Nampho Municipality include Yangdok Hot Spring and Kangso Mineral Water.

Those in North Phyongan Province include Yaksandongdae and Tongnim Falls.

Jagang Province has many mineral water areas, South Hwanghae and North Hamgyong provinces many hot spring areas and North Hwanghae Province many mountain and stream areas.

The landscape treatment resources of Kangwon Province, which has a landscape of Mt Kumgang, a pride of the country and a world-famous scenic spot, are attracting attention of many people.

People say that they feel fresh and recover from fatigue, looking at the diverse, magnificent, beautiful and myriad scenery of Mt Kumgang. -0-
