20th National Machine Design Festival Closes

Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- The 20th National Machine Design Festival closed with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex here on Sept. 29.

The festival was sponsored by the National Industrial Design Administration. Highly appreciated there were the designs of machines urgently needed in the coal industry and designs and models conducive to raising the proportion of mechanization in agricultural production and accelerating the modernization of construction equipment.

Present at the closing ceremony were Vice-Premier Ri Kyong Il, Minister of Machine-building Industry Ri Kwang Nam, officials concerned, and officials and working people of the exhibitor units.

At the closing ceremony, pennants, trophies and certificates were awarded to exemplary units and members. -0-
