Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in leading newspapers of the DPRK on Saturday:

- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un met and had a photo taken with the participants in the Eighth Congress of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea. (photos accompanied)
