Successes Made in Production of School Uniforms

Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- Light industrial factories in Pyongyang completed the third-stage production of school uniforms, shoes and bags.

The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill finished the production of cloth for school uniforms and bags more than 20 days earlier than the schedule.

The Pyongyang School Uniform Factory over-fulfilled its daily production assignments by introducing practical processing methods to save manpower and time.

The Pyongyang Children's Knitwear Goods Factory and the Aeguk Knitwear Factory established a quality inspection system and produced sweaters suited to the schoolchildren's' physiques while keeping the equipment in full-capacity operation.

The Pyongyang Bag Factory, the Pyongyang Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory and the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory ensured proper process-by-process engagement and manufactured various jigs to increase the processing speed and the actual extraction rate of products, thus making progress in the production of schoolbags, shoes and other goods. -0-
