Valuable Technological Innovations Introduced
Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Three-revolution team members active in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK have introduced more than 100 valuable technological innovations into practice for the first half of the year.
At the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, they rationally remodeled the existing cooling system in cooperation with field engineers. By doing so, they greatly dropped the internal temperature of the electric motor and contributed to the normal operation of the oxygen heat blast furnace.
At the Musan Mining Complex, they developed a scientific and technological innovation proposal to neutralize the blasting gas rapidly and increase the tunneling speed 1.3 times. And they manufactured an efficient coal cutter at the Hoeryong Coal-mining Machine Factory.
Those active at the Chongjin Steel Factory and the Myonggan Chemical Factory succeeded in removing carbon from the pig iron and lowering the sulfur content in melting process. And they made a floating manometer to contribute to the modernization of the production line of brown coal tar.
Those dispatched to Chongjin City and Kilju, Yonsa and Kyongwon counties resolved sci-tech problems arising in the implementation of regional development policy and rural construction policy of the Workers' Party of Korea. -0-
