Ideal of WPK's Founding Shining with DIU

Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- In the distress-torn period, when the tragic fate of statelessness weighed heavily upon the Korean nation a century ago, President Kim Il Sung formed the Down-with-Imperialism Union, a vanguard organization that would lead the revolutionary cause of Juche to victory.

Greeting the centenary of birth of a new-type revolutionary organization, the historical root of the glorious Workers' Party of Korea, the DPRK people are recollecting the august image of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who visited the Central Cadres Training School of the Workers' Party of Korea four years ago.

In his lecture at the pedigree farm for the training of cadres of the Party on October 17, 2022, the significant day when the DIU was formed, respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un called for intensifying education and struggle to maintain and display the noble ideal and determination of the early days of the Party founding through the whole Party, and for dynamically promoting the work to train the Party officials who are possessed of the revolutionary climate of the WPK.

He set forth the political, organizational, ideological, discipline and work-style building as the orientation of the building of the WPK in the new era.

The idea and line of party building on developing the WPK into a party, politically mature, organizationally strong, ideologically pure, strict in discipline and sound in work style, served as a great event that provided an epochal milestone and a new historic starting point in further strengthening the WPK into a powerful political staff.

Later, he took part in the inauguration ceremony of the Central Cadres Training School of the Workers' Party of Korea and made an important speech titled "Train Cadres of the Party in the New Era Who Are Faithful to the Ideal and Spirit of Its Founding".

The iron will of the respected General Secretary to carry forward the spirit and traits of the Party-founding generation, not forgetting the days when the great cause of the Party founding was accomplished with the bloody pioneering and indomitable struggle but more dynamically ushering in a heyday of the building of the WPK, excited all the people across the country.

In a statement made public in October 2024, the respected General Secretary clarified that the eternal future and development of the dignified and powerful WPK are guaranteed by purely carrying forward the ideal and spirit of the Party founding, which defines the revolutionary nature and mode of existence of the WPK, and thoroughly applying them to its building and activities.

The immortal feats of the respected General Secretary, who has invariably defended the banner of the DIU held up in the early days of the anti-Japanese revolution and added eternal shine to its greatness, are shining long in the history of the WPK. -0-
