New Production Line Arranged at Taean Heavy Machine Complex

Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- The Taean Heavy Machine Complex in the DPRK is concentrating efforts on establishing a new production line, according to Minju Joson.

The complex completed a design of the slag remelting furnace, a major equipment in establishing a new production line, in a short period.

It produced the parts necessary for the manufacture of the slag remelting furnace in a qualitative way by exploiting internal reserves and potentials to the maximum, while ensuring the current production.

After finishing the installation of the slag remelting furnace No. 1, the complex is stepping up the preparation for trial run and pushing ahead with the manufacture of the furnace No. 2 at the final stage.

It is also hastening the remodeling of ingot moulding process including the automation of the temperature control of the mold drying furnace. -0-
