Efforts to Strengthen Foundation for Experiment and Practice at Universities in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) -- Universities across the DPRK make efforts to strengthen the foundation for experiment and practice, according to Minju Joson.

This year, too, Kim Il Sung University is striving to lay a better material and technical foundation for the experimental and practical education while consolidating the successes achieved in setting experimental and educational centers as models of the whole country last year.

Kim Chaek University of Technology has pushed ahead with the work to modernize the laboratories and practice rooms and manufacture new equipment on the basis of the experience gained in the establishment of the comprehensive experimental education hall and the center for experimental education of academic subjects.

The University of Sciences designs and manufactures many experimental equipment and devices by itself and makes the laboratory and practical rooms conducive to realizing the integration of education, scientific research and production.

Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering is stepping up the modernization and IT of laboratories and practice rooms, and universities across the country including Phyongsong University of Medicine and Pyongyang University of Computer Technology are putting spurs to build modern laboratories and practice rooms and perfect them. -0-
