Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- - Following are major news items and articles in leading newspapers of the DPRK on Friday:

- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to a woman centenarian living in Sinwon County, South Hwanghae Province.
