Party and Government Delegation of PRC Leaves Pyongyang
Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- A party and government delegation of the People's Republic of China led by Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, left Pyongyang for home on July 17, after paying an official goodwill visit to the DPRK and attending the celebrations of the 65th anniversary of the conclusion of the DPRK-China Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance.
The national flags of the DPRK and the PRC were fluttering at the flagstaffs of Wonsan Kalma Airport and the guard of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up at the apron before the terminal.
The delegation was seen off by Jo Yong Won, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Song Nam, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., the WPK, Kim Hyong Sik, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the WPK, Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials.
The plane carrying the Chinese friendship mission left Wonsan amid the send-off by the masses. -0-
