Men's Volleyball Final of Youth and Students Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- A men's volleyball final of youth and students across the country took place on August 28, the Youth Day.

Among the spectators were Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang.

Prior to the final, Paek Un Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made a speech.

The Pyongyang municipal team beat the South Hwanghae provincial team 3:0.

At the end of the final, commendations of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League were awarded to the teams that took part in the final and prizes to the players. -0-
