Agricultural Technology Schools in DPRK
Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Tens of thousands of agricultural workers are now studying at 170-odd city and county agricultural technology schools across the country built last year to prepare themselves to be practical talents with qualifications needed to carry out the rural revolutionary programme in the new era, according to Rodong Sinmun.
The agricultural technology schools train skilled workers including tractor drivers, stockbreeders and electricians as well as technicians in various fields of agriculture including farming, stockbreeding, fruit farming, farm machine and agricultural IT.
The agricultural workers are acquiring the technical knowledge and skills in the field of farm machine through experiments and practice at the schools.
In the course of their study, they make inventions related to various fields by directing efforts to studying major subjects. -0-
