New Gymnasium and Outdoor Stadium Built

Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Modern gymnasium and outdoor stadium have been newly built at Wonsan University of Agriculture in the DPRK.

Those multi-functional gymnasium and outdoor stadium make it possible to further improve the educational conditions and environment and will help the teaching staff and students of the university train their bodies and minds and intensify their extracurricular and cultural and leisure activities.

Present at the inauguration ceremony held on July 20 were officials of the Party and power organs in Kangwon Province, officials concerned and teaching staff and students of the university.

Ju Mun Jin, chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, addressed the ceremony.

The speaker called upon the officials, teaching staff and students of the university to take good care of the facilities and fixtures of the gymnasium and the outdoor stadium built under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea and prepare themselves to be competent talents conducive to the country's agricultural development by studying hard.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the gymnasium and the outdoor stadium. -0-
