Flowers Laid at Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri
Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Flowers were placed at the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri on August 14 on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Korea's liberation.
Present there were Ri Hi Yong and Jong Kyong Thaek, secretaries of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other senior Party and government officials, officials of the WPK Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, the Cabinet and armed forces organs, bereaved families of the martyrs, students of revolutionary schools and Pyongyang citizens.
The participants laid flowers at the monument and observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs who dedicated their lives to the greatest sacred motherland and the victorious advance of the Juche revolution.
They laid flowers at the graves of the revolutionary forerunners. -0-
