Progress Made in Fifth-Stage Construction Project in Hwasong Area

Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- The service personnel, capital city builders and youth shock brigades involved in the fifth-stage construction project in the Hwasong area of the DPRK are making achievements in the aggressive spirit.

The construction units of the Korean People's Army increased the proportion of the building work done by machines and conducted the proactive sci-tech activities aimed at saving manpower and materials. In this way, they have pushed ahead with their construction projects.

The battalions of the Ministry of Construction and Building-Materials Industry and the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection under the 1st Brigade of the ministries and national agencies have focused on building quality structures and raising the level of the specialization in construction. By doing so, they are successfully carrying out the roofing work, the installation of service pipes and drainpipes and the ventilation work.

Members of the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade are displaying their spirit as young patriots with the enthusiasm which they had displayed in building Jonwi Street and a great farm city in the western border area of the country.
