Regional Construction Hastened in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- Officers and men of the 124th regiments of the Korean People's Army are stepping up the interior plastering projects for regional-industry factories after finishing their roofing and exterior plastering while pushing ahead with the construction of hospitals in a three-dimensional way.

The units, dispatched to the area of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm and Ragwon County, have carried out their daily assignments by developing the creativity of soldier-builders and giving scientific and technological guidance to the construction.

Soldier-builders in Kangnam and Songhwa counties have raised their technical knowledge and skills of handling modern construction equipment through technical study and demonstration and applied the building methods conducive to saving materials and manpower.

Those in Sonchon, Unnyul, Thongchon, Maengsan, Sijung and Sinhung counties and Taean District are conducting the internal and external projects according to technical regulations and building methods.

Double-ceiling construction and the attachment of heat insulating materials are being conducted at the construction sites of regional-industry factories and hospitals in Phanmun District and Phyongwon, Pongsan and Sinphyong counties.

The units in Hwaphyong, Phyonggang, Myonggan, Musan and Samsu counties, too, have made successes in interior plastering. -0-
