Young People in Pyongyang Volunteer for Socialist Construction Theaters

Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- Young people in Pyongyang Municipality volunteered to work at worksites of socialist construction.

Those of Pyongyang University of Transport Technology vowed to work at the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine and other coal mines under the Kangdong Area Coal-mining Complex.

Those in Hyongjesan, Tongdaewon and Sadong districts asked their youth league organizations to send them to the road management offices in their areas.

A meeting was held on October 30 to congratulate the volunteers.

Present there were youth league officials and youth and students.

At the meeting the volunteers were awarded certificates, and a congratulatory address and resolution-taking speeches were made.

Officials, youth and students gave a pep talk to the volunteers leaving for the worksites of creation and innovation, presenting bouquets to them. -0-
