Mangyongdae and Ryongsong Chicken Farms Mark Their Founding Anniversaries

Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- Meetings took place on the spots on October 16 to mark the 60th founding anniversaries of the Mangyongdae Chicken Farm and the Ryongsong Chicken Farm.

Present at the meetings were officials concerned and officials and employees of the chicken farms.

Reporters said that President Kim Il Sung chose the sites of the farms, solved all problems arising in the construction and visited the farms to clarify scientific and technological problems arising in the breeding of chickens one by one.

They said that Chairman Kim Jong Il visited the farms several times and indicated concrete tasks and ways for producing and supplying meat and eggs and managing and operating the farms and bestowed great loving care for their officials and employees.

They stressed that the farms, founded and developed thanks to the warm loving care of the President and the Chairman, are greeting a new heyday under the wise guidance of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

They noted that the officials and employees have made successes in production and management activities with the pure loyalty to the Workers' Party of Korea and ardent patriotic enthusiasm over the past 60 years since the foundation of the chicken farms.

They stressed the need to normalize the production of meat and eggs on a high level by raising the fierce flames of increased production, true to the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the WPK and thus make the people more warmly feel the Party's loving care. -0-
