Construction of Sports Village Promoted in Haeju City of DPRK

Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, a sports village is being built in Haeju City, South Hwanghae Province, the DPRK.

The project for carpeting its floor with synthetic grass has been completed, alongside the installation of a large screen TV.

The frame works of the facilities for basketball, volleyball and other sports games have been finished and the interior and exterior plastering is underway.

Lodging quarters, outdoor sports grounds and leisure places for athletes are to be built. -0-
