New Products Developed in Vehicle-building Industry

Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- According to Minju Joson, the vehicle-building industry sector is putting spurs to establishing new production processes for manufacturing and perfecting Korean-style vehicles and developing new products.

It works hard to establish a new-type 80 hp tractor engine production process.

The Sunchon Engine Factory invents and manufactures jigs and equipment necessary for establishing new-type tractor engine production processes and pushes ahead with the projects of consolidating the material and technical foundations of the factory, including the one of putting the existing equipment on a modern basis.

While reducing fuel consumption, the factory is resolving technical problems arising in establishing a new engine production process with more improved performance than the previous engine.

A remarkable success is being made in the development of new products.

Technicians and skilled workers of the Huichon Precision Machine Plant made fuel pump and jet for 45 hp tractor engine with their own efforts and technology, thus contributing to the development of new products.

The Kumgang Prime Motor Factory under the general small farm machine production enterprise developed 6 hp diesel engines and is pushing ahead with the work for realizing its serial production. -0-
