Pyongyang Citizens Enjoy Roast Chestnuts and Sweet Potatoes

Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- October is a starting season for enjoying roast chestnuts and sweet potatoes sold by stalls set up across Pyongyang.

The stalls are crowded with smiling citizens, young or old, eating tasty roast chestnuts and sweet potatoes.

Roast chestnuts and sweet potatoes are parts of the Pyongyang specialties, together with Pyongyang Raengmyon and Pyongyang Onban.

In the municipality of Pyongyang, there is a department for selling roast chestnuts and sweet potatoes and a well-regulated system has been established to transport, store and sell chestnuts and sweet potatoes.
