Mass Movements Launched in North Hwanghae Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- Industrial establishments in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK are conducting mass movements for the regional economic development and the improvement of people's living standards.

The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex launched a mass movement for maintaining equipment to make innovative successes at every worksite.

The Kyongam Cement Factory has conducted ideological education to follow the fighting spirit and traits of the workers of the Sangwon Cement Complex while launching a socialist emulation to raise the rate of fulfilling its daily quotas.

The Sariwon Textile Mill and the Ryesonggang Power Station are boosting production through such mass movements as the multi-spindle and multi-loom tending movement and the movement of helping the next shift.

Employees of the Sariwon Bag Factory and the Sariwon Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory are reducing the production cost by using scraps of cloth from the viewpoint that economy means increased production and patriotism.

The Sariwon Equipment Assembly Station, the Sariwon Aeguk Essential Plastic Goods Factory and the Unpha County Daily Necessities Factory have directed efforts to recycling materials and turned the technical innovation movement into the work of the masses themselves to increase the production of various kinds of parts and plastic goods.

The Jongbangsan General Foodstuff Factory, the Sariwon Winery, the Sohung County Furniture Goods Factory and other factories have manufactured efficient equipment and tools with their own efforts and done various good-conduct movements. -0-
