Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Tokchon Area Coal-mining Complex in the DPRK are striving to increase the coal production.

The Namyang Coal Mine provided more than 20 reserve cutting faces by enhancing the role of tunneling units. And it has concentrated manpower on coal mining and ensured the normal operation of belt conveyor system to increase coal production.

The Jenam Coal Mine has introduced advanced blasting methods and efficient mining methods to boost the production.

The Toksong Coal Mine and the Sochang Youth Coal Mine have made effective review and assessment of the fulfillment of daily quotas to raise the coal miners' zeal for production.

The Tokchon Coal-mining Machine Factory has stepped up the production of coal wagons, borers, belt equipment and accessories to ensure the coal production. -0-
