Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the DPRK held a technical course for disseminating the agricultural sci-tech successes and experience gained in high-yielding farming last year under the sponsorship of the scientific farming promotion team.

Present there were members of the scientific farming promotion team and officials from the agricultural guidance organs across the country and units of city and county raw materials bases.

The course gave more than 30 lectures dealing with advanced farming technologies and technical characteristics and using methods of portable measuring equipment and showed various multimedia programs dealing with high-yield farming experience.

The scientific farming promotion team selected as lecturers the able scientists and researchers and put great effort on making lecture plans and multimedia programs to make the advanced farming technology and methods dealt in the course effective in increasing grain production.

The technical course marked an important occasion in ensuring the grain production this year by dint of science and technology. -0-
